She was the former Queen of Fishman island. She was a very kind and joyful person and she cared about her kingdom more the anyone. Otohime was killed by Hody Jones. He had an incurable disease but chopper brought him a poisonous mushroom( Chopper brought Hililuk this mushroom as he thought it could cure anything because it had a cross symbol ). Hiluluk drank the mushroom soup without any hesitation and he didn’t want to break Chopper’s heart. In the end he triggered a bomb which ended his life.
